Before qualifying in nutrition, I studied health and nutrition for over ten years.   In some parts as a passion interest, and others to cure auto-immune conditions and illness I suffered with.  My focus was to get healthier, find a balance.  I was living a fast paced life that was incompatible with healing, so as one symptom would clear, another would appear.  I discovered the key is to manage and reduce inflammation in the body.

One of the things I discovered on this journey was collagen, and supplementing this into my diet.  Something I have been doing for about 10 years now.  In brief collagen reseals and rebuilds the gut lining, to complement an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle. I used to be intolerant to most foods, and then through rebuilding my gut, and resetting my health, my intolerances subsided and I could begin to eat and enjoy a varied diet again.
